If you’re a regular, you may remember that this time last year I was gearing up for my first food blogging conference at #FWCon 2016. I was excited to be a brand ambassador for Food Wine Conference then, and I’m just as happy to now be heading back in a few short weeks as a brand ambassador for this year’s conference. I know I’ll see some familiar faces and it will be great to re-connect, but there is also so much more in the conference itself to look forward to.
This year is Food Wine Conference’s 5th anniversary, and some great keynote speakers are joining to help celebrate. It really feels, as I put in the title, that they’re looking at food from every angle, with a leading food writer, a successful blogger, a marketing guru as well as food producers and more presenting over the weekend. There is also a special social media bootcamp for the food industry on Sunday, alongside the blogger/influencer sessions.
As in previous years, it’s being held in the fantastic Rosen Shingle Resort near Orlando, Florida and it’s adjoining culinary school. Some of last year’s food was true a work of art, as well as delicious, and I can’t wait to see what they have in store this year. The conference is hosted by Sunday Supper which I’ve been involved with for a good two years now. I love the mission of Sunday Supper as well as the fantastic sense of community in the group which is great to connect with in person.
I know there will be plenty to learn from the sessions, and great food, not to mention lovely people to spend a couple days with. So if you are free May 19-21, come join me and everyone else! And make use of my 5 tips for your first blogging conference (or any conference) to help you get the most out of it.
Plus if you enter the code ‘CarolineW2017’ when you register you’ll get $50 off!
I hope to see you there!
As a Brand Ambassador, I receive a discounted ticket to the conference but I have not otherwise been compensated for this post.
