Ingredients

  • 1 banana ripe (if anything slightly over-ripe)
  • ¾ cup plain yogurt
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ cup ice cubes (½ cup is approximately 4 - 6 ice cubes)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or a little more/less to taste
  • 1 pinch cardamom or cinnamon

Instructions

  • Peel the banana and break into a couple chunks. Place in the blender.
  • Add the yogurt, milk, ice cubes, honey and cardamom/cinnamon and blend until smooth and well-combined. If needed, scrape down the sides and bottom to make sure everything is well mixed in (yogurt can sometimes stick on side, honey can fall to the bottom).
  • Serve immediately while nice and cold.
