Australian food can be a little hard to define. There are a few very traditional dishes, but some can be a little tricky when you trace the origins. Many foods that feel classically Australian to Aussies are in fact just slight variations of British foods, like sausage rolls. And these days, Australian cities host a melting pot of cuisines from around the world.
