    Autumn/fall recipes

    As the weather cools, it's the start of comfort food season and also when some favorite ingredients are in abundance. Think apples, pears and squash in everything, warming spices or curling up with a comforting bowl of soup. So much to enjoy!

    All things apple:

    Apple are the classic autumnal fruit, and with good reason - they come in lots of tasty varieties, are versatile to cook with in both sweet and savory recipes, not to mention delicious just as they are. Try some favorite apple recipes:

    Perfect pears:

    Apple may get the glory, but I think pears are possibly my favorite seasonal fruit. The flavor and texture may not be quite as versatile, but it can make a dish special, as in these favorites:

    Super squash and pumpkin:

    Squash and pumpkin come in many different varieties and are enjoyed around the world in so many sweet and savory dishes. A few to try include the following, but you'll find many more here:
